Historic 65-mile 4x4 route over Engineer (12,780 ft) and Cinnamon (12,620 ft) passes linking Ouray, Silverton and Lake City; typically fully open only late June-September. Coordinates are Silverton; a seasonal pilot program allows OHVs on a short Hwy 149 segment into Lake City - confirm it is renewed for 2026.
